Real Cards for Real Athletes, Built in Ohio

Buckeye Ball Cards exists for one simple reason: every young athlete deserves something better than a school picture stuffed in a drawer.

Our Story

Buckeye Ball Cards grew out of Buckeye Shirt Co., a company that's spent years working directly with schools, teams, and organizations to produce custom merchandise — from team apparel to large-scale organization projects. That experience taught us something simple: when you actually understand production, data collection, and working with schools, you can build something better than a typical fundraiser product.

Buckeye Ball Cards is its own thing — its own brand, its own product, its own purpose — built on the foundation of that experience.

Our Mission

We started with one target reaction in mind:

"Holy crap, my kid has their own baseball card."

That's the bar. Not a school photo dropped into a template. Not a cheap fundraiser trinket. A real, professional trading card that a kid is proud of and a family keeps.

What We Believe

Quality isn't optional.

If it doesn't feel like a real collectible, we haven't done our job.

This should never feel like it's exploiting kids.

Every card requires proper authorization from the school and consent from parents before it's produced — no exceptions.

Local matters.

The value of these cards isn't "maybe I'll pull something valuable" — it's "my kid, my teammate, my neighbor's kid has a real card." That's a different kind of value, and we think it's a better one.

Fundraising shouldn't be a burden.

Coaches and volunteers already give enough of their time. We aim to make this the easy fundraiser, not one more thing on their plate.

Privacy & Consent Commitment

Before we produce anything for a school or organization:

  • We obtain proper authorization from the school to use its name, mascot, and colors.
  • We require parental consent for the use of each athlete's name and photo.
  • If a parent doesn't want their child included, that decision is respected — fully, without pressure.

This section states our commitment plainly. Detailed legal/consent-form language is being finalized and isn't published here yet.
